Job Purpose
Generating revenue by persuading client companies to use The Company as a provider of services and
Maintaining good relations with existing clients to increase revenue.
Prospecting and canvassing, by all means necessary, to generate new clients.
Presenting The Company as a business partner by offering training solutions.

Key Performance Areas
· Ensure that monthly targets are achieved by generating new business and repeat business.
· Identification of new clients through prospecting (cold calling)
· Setting up of sales appointments for new business. A minimum of 5 sales appointments to be
conducted weekly.
· Service calls to existing clients. A minimum of 10 appointments to be conducted weekly.
· Conduct service calls according to a quarterly call cycle
· Determine the client’s needs by asking relevant questions
· Offer advice and propose solutions to address the client’s specific needs
· Conduct sales presentations
· Compile cost proposals.
· Handling of client objections and complaints in an effective and informative manner
· Negotiate a Service Level Agreement with clients.
· Compile Service Level Agreements.
· Finalise and ensure signing of Service Level Agreements by all parties concerned
· Accountable for the accuracy of all outgoing documentation and correspondence
· Accountable for the accuracy of invoicing instructions to Administrator.
· Participation in the organisation and successful completion of trade shows and marketing
· Co-operation between various divisions within The Company
· Acceptance of accountability within the sales team
· Assist in the planning of sales and marketing strategies
· Assist in the gathering of sales and marketing intelligence
· Ensure inclusion of The Company on supplier databases by liaising with the Administrator in the
· Assume accountability for the submission of tender documents.
· Liaison with Administrator on tender preparation.
· A minimum of 5 working days’ annual leave to be taken on or before the month of September
every year

· Weekly submission of activity sheets and prospect records.
· Monthly submission of sales forecasts.
· Weekly checking of invoicing and transaction sheets.
· Monthly submission of SLA pipeline spreadsheets.
