  Would include, but not be restricted to the following:  
Report to Retail Department      
Focus on bakery and supermarket equipment installation and repairs  
Good people skills required to maintain and build relationships with existing and new clients  
Work-based on planning provided by the bakery department   
Plan the daily route to optimize efficiency in completing jobs issued  
To ensure that spares for general servicing and for key account maintenance contracts are replenished in the service vehicle.  
To ensure that vehicle services are planned to avoid service delays.  
To ensure all consumables are stocked in the service vehicle.  
Completes job card and obtains customer signature acknowledging that the work has been completed to his satisfaction.  
In the case of a cash customer, the job card is costed. The customer is given a receipt for the cash received. This cash is to  
  be handed in. The Technician will be held responsible for all outstanding COD monies not collected after completion of the job.  
Should the technician know that not all calls will be completed that day, the technician must ensure that the customers   
  on the call, sheet are informed timeously of this    
All completed job cards are handed into the Retail Department Manager the next morning for invoicing. Any problems   
  encountered the previous day must be reported to the manager for action.  
Advises customers on potential problems.    
Attends training sessions when called upon to do so  
Takes stock of his van as per the company's 3 monthly stock take dates and accounts for all variances.  
Complete installations in accordance with the drawings, schedule and request forms;  
Commissioning equipment.      
Deliver and install equipment where necessary to complete snags/installations timeously   
Make repairs on bakery equipment where necessary in the companies Workshop   
Must be prepared to cross-borders border and throughout South Africa  
Good communication and organizational skills a requirement  
3 - 5 Years experience in the industry an advantage  
Technical aptitude and knowledge of bakery and catering equipment an advantage  
Qualified Electrician and Refrigeration knowledge an advantage  
Proven work track record      
Valid passport        
Valid drivers license - code EB      
Export travel may be required      
After hours work is often the case  (Overtime)    
Minimum qualification will be Qualified Electrician  
Adequate training will be provided for everyday duties, and the incumbent  
  will be encouraged to attend outside training sessions where necessary.  
Must be prepared to travel cross border and throughout South Africa  
A proven track record of success.      
Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.    
Ability to work under pressure effectively.    
High levels of personal planning and organisation.  
Work effectively consistently without constant supervision  
Highest level of honesty      
Ability to work accurately
