Main purpose of the job
Responsible for own hand sales in order to meet monthly targets
Key Performance Areas 
1. Responsible for Sales:
  • Achievement of individual total value sales targets
  • Achievement of generic brands
  • Achievement of Individual new products value sales targets
  • Achievement of Individual unit sales targets
  • Territory coverage
  • Strike Rate
  • Call Rate
2. Responsible for completion of administration:
  • Planners
  • Expenses
  • PDA usage
  • Call reports, To ensure proper planning, execution and evaluation
3. Product Knowledge:
  • Updated product
  • Competitor and
  • Market knowledge
  • At least a Matric (HG Maths)
  • Degree
  • A Diploma or course in Sales an advantage
  • 1-2 years experience in the sales environment, NOT in the medical industry
  • Able to use the PDA Repwise system or similar
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Strong minded
  • Able to deal with negative feedback and rejections.

The role holder will travel 90% of their time on a mixture of planned and ad-hoc business travel
  • Responsible for meeting monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Meeting monthly and quarterly premium values sales targets.
  • Achieving monthly and quarterly new products value sales targets.
  • Cover 100% of identified territory.
  • At least 60% of calls made should result in a sale
  • Achieve 10 calls per day.
  • Timeous, complete and accurate submission of reports and correct usage of PDA.
  • Minimum 85% pass rate on product knowledge tests quarterly
  • RSM in field assessments on an ad hoc basis
Training is 8 weeks long and held in Johannesburg
Salary R20,000.00 CTC
Commission is earned quarterly
Monthly incentives as well as annual incentives
