HSEQ Coordinator – H/Office - Bellville

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
  • A professional qualification/certification in HSEQ with a strong HSEQ background
  • Contractor Management knowledge and/or experience
  • An understanding of the risk profiles related to the LPG industry
  • Good knowledge of all relevant legislation that impacts on the operations and HSEQ functions (eg OHS-ACT)
  • Knowledge of ISO certification or a Safety Management system
  • The ability to create an environment for the company to excel in HSE areas
  • Drivers license
  • Ability and flexibility to travel for Contractor and/or Depot audits when required
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
  • HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality) improvement of depots, operations and contractors
  • Assist contractors in completing and submitting Safety files and regular follow up with contractors
  • Maintain and update SharePoint submissions spreadsheet
  • Verify quality of submissions on SharePoint
  • Maintain monthly SharePoint submissions KPI`s timeously
  • Develop, maintain and continuously improve the client's Southern Africa HSEQ Management systems and contribute to the setting up and maintenance of a strong HSEQ culture within the company.
  • Assist with implementation and sustainability of systems such as One Maestro, PATROM, SRM++ etc.
  • Conduct accident and incident investigations by conducting root-cause analysis and provide improved recommendations for the prevention thereof – report all incidents on RAMSES
  • Conduct HSEQ data capturing on a timeous manner to meet deadlines
  • Ensure that appropriate performance indicators (KPI`s) are in place throughout the company to provide a balanced measure of the HSEQ performance of the company.
  • Accurate compilation of Monthly Safety report, as well as logging of events on RAMSES – with proper follow ups to ensure that the highest possible close –out rate is maintained
  • Ensure that the appropriate legislative (and other HSEQ) training is conducted in line with the required learning outcomes and training budget (Plan and schedule)
  • Compile driving performance statistics reports for all company owned vehicles, assist & schedule replacements of monitoring units (MIX Telematics)
  • Conduct presentations on areas of responsibility during Monthly HSEQ Meeting
