  • Conduct proactive and consistent targeted sales calls/visits to existing and new customers.
  • Accurately identify, record and report customer’s current, short, medium and long term needs for quotation, and to promote the sales of Parts.
  • Quote external customers ensuring due diligence and following up on orders.
  • Actively interact with necessary technical, commercial and sales personnel in order to ensure that quotations are accurate and that client receives excellent service.
  • Monitor, record and report customers purchasing trends in order to optimise our sales, develop relationships and to optimise our gross margins where possible.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings.
  • Accurately and consistently provide management with proactive and reactive reporting through customer call lists, visit reports, etc.
  •  Assist with Stock taking process.
  • Achieve retail parts, revenue  and gross margin sales budgets

Required Qualifications and Experience:
Grade 12 or equivalent
A minimum of 3-5 years in a sales environment including: -  External sales.
Commercial vehicle or trucking industry
